Country Barn Farm queen bee genetics originated from a carefully selected blend of Carniolan and Italian honey bees chosen for longevity, gentle temperament, mite resistance, disease resistance, honey production, and performance in northern climates. Our colonies are maintained year-round in Western Pennsylvania, ensuring that our bees are well adapted to the challenges of northern winters and seasonal conditions.

Over time, our breeding program has developed a unique genetic blend that combines the best characteristics of these honey bee strains. Country Barn Farm queens have received excellent feedback from beekeepers across the United States for their productivity, temperament, and overall performance.

These queens are well suited for both experienced beekeepers seeking to improve the genetics of their existing apiaries and beginning beekeepers who want to start with high-quality stock.

Country Barn Farm sells only marked and mated queens that have demonstrated a consistent, high-quality brood pattern. Every queen is individually inspected and marked prior to sale at no additional charge.
